Overview: It was just a quick stop to get lunch.

Twenty-four-year-old Veronica doesn’t like what the pandemic is doing to her plans. The world is on lockdown because of a deadly virus, she is laid off from a career that was just getting good, and she can’t afford to live on her own anymore. Now she’s back at home with her parents and her younger sister, Meg, who has special needs.

Living in this new world is suffocating. Fear of the virus is promoted everywhere by the media, and arguments about the new rules are blowing up relationships. She just wants life to be like it was before.

Her faith and hope in her future are being tested, and it’s Meg who shows her what true resilience is. Veronica begins to adjust. But then her life is shaken after a stop at a local restaurant for lunch.

What should have been a simple interaction goes wrong, and sparks a movement to justify branding people with disabilities – a group that Meg is a part of. Veronica realizes that she can’t stand by and wish things were different. She must take action and fight for what is right. But she never thought she was putting herself in danger.
