Ancient Mines of kitchi-Gummi: Cypriot/Minoan Traders in North America by Roger L. Jewell (Author), Mary E. Jewell (Illustrator, Editor)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 9.3 MB | Version: Retail
Overview: This book tells of an ancient Copper Trade between Lake Superior in the United States and a trading group from the Eastern Mediterranean. This trade took place over 4000 years ago and lasted for about 1200 years. It addresses the question who was really first to North America. Although the book is controversial 4000 copies have been sold and none have successfully challenged it. Readers can view photographs of the actual evidence. Evidence that is most often ignored by the established archaeologists.

Native cultures have a rich history in this early period. much of which has been covered up. Algonquian speaking people were the primary traders involved in this trade. The had a written syllabary to record their language. This syllabary is still used by the Cree people.

They were also involved in the megalithic structures we find scattered around the great lakes. It was also during this early period 4000 years ago that reverence for the sun was pronounced. The sun, moon and Venus were all part of their religious life. This history is wrong and needs to be corrected. This book is my effort to start this process.
