Overview: A recently bereaved family travel up to Scotland for the weekend. Setting up camp at a secluded caravan park deep within the forest, the five siblings intend to scatter their mother’s ashes before heading back home to England, to life without her. The place is perfect; rolling hills, meandering streams, endless woodland, bustling wildlife, a peaceful loch, every shade of green for as far as the eye can see, and, the icing on top of the already spectacular cake, the owners of the resort are nicer than nice, sweeter than sweet, whiter than white.
But not all is what it seems…
Underneath the plastic veneer of beauty and splendour lies a murky underbelly of horrors, both twisted and surreal, all taking place within the grounds of the idyllic forest resort; a resort in the middle of nowhere; a place where no one can hear you scream. You only get what you pay for, and there’s a reason why this particular resort is so inexpensive during the autumn and winter months. Scratch beneath the surface and you will find the terrifying truth. The owners are not who they seem, the staff are hiding a dark, dark secret they dare not share, and the other guests, who are few and far between, keep their distance and linger in the background, rarely ever engaging with our family, often looking down their noses at them. But why? What makes ‘them’ so different?
