A fallen guardian was trapped, deep in the heart of the realm. A prophecy was granted. And the people of the realm slipped away lost in the sands of time.
Lost in the liminal planes between realms one being remains, finding the one to fulfill the prophecy their only purpose.
The veil allows those to cross who have pure hearts. Over time the realm becomes home to these Veil Walkers. Snippets of history of the land reveal itself to them, and they pick up the fallen torch of protecting the crossing between realms. They take the place of the Lost Ones, and dedicate their lives to a realm from which they were not born.
The darkness is awakening and with it brings the return of the light.
An unwitting hero, Katrina, is drawn to the wild. For many years this place has called to her, for reasons she has never really understood. She has found a sense of peace here, a reprieve from the life she longs to escape. However on one of her camping trips she feels a pull to explore deeper into the woods and unknowingly stumbles through the veil. On the other side she finds a realm she never knew existed. A place seemingly on the brink of destruction.
A haunting call to fulfil destiny rings out.
The realm awakens something within her, and she soon learns she is connected to an ancient prophecy. A prophecy that has been lost in time. Torn between a life she never really wanted and a prophecy she didn’t ask for, darkness threaten to take both if she doesn’t act.
