Overview: Sean Vivier, pronounced like Vivian, but with an R, is a writer of science fiction and fantasy from central Connecticut, and a member of SFWA. Before making a living as a web app developer, Vivier taught high school Spanish, a Sudbury school staffer, a Montessori teacher, an odd jobber, a youth theater teaching assistant, a Census worker, a Renaissance Faire gaming booth attendant, a line dance instructor, a coding tutor, and a ballroom dance instructor.
Vivier’s has appeared in Analog Science Fiction and Fact and Daily Science Fiction. His writing is often a tribute to ideological diversity: how personal philosophies shape perception and action. He likes to lose himself in singular characters with singular worldviews in uncommon situations. While he tends toward the cerebral, Vivier also draws toward action and adventure. When he can, he likes to combine the two. His favorite stories delight both the forebrain and the hindbrain.
