Overview: Oskar Cox Jensen is an author, historian and songwriter. Born in 1988, he grew up in the Kentish countryside, somewhat at odds with his Nordic roots.
Oskar studied History for seven years, and three successive degrees, at Christ Church, Oxford. In that time he also wrote songs and performed in both a band and as a solo artist. As an undergraduate, Oskar was editor of both Cherwell newspaper and Isis magazine, two of the country’s oldest and most respected student publications. During this time, inspired by his late grandfathers stories and one brilliant tutor, he wrote his debut novel for children set in Viking-Age Denmark.
