Overview: John Paul Langan was born on July 6, 1969 in New York. He received his Masters of Arts degree from State University of New York at New Paltz and his Master of Philosophy from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He was an instructor at State University of New York at New Paltz, where he taught creative writing and gothic fiction, between 2000 and 2018. He was also an adjunct professor at Marist College.
Currently, he lives in upstate New York with his wife, two sons, and cat.
