Overview: Nigel Oakley was educated in Shrewsbury but ended up thousands of miles from home in Botswana where he taught Maths for three years. With a PHD from Durham University, Nigel has been writing since he first published a poem at eight years old. His debut novel, Warrior Princess, Earrant Page, was the result of the song ‘Good King Wenceslas’ being in his son’s Christmas concert. He also reads for the Lichfield Cathedral Digest and writes monthly short stories for his local writing group.
