Overview: Karen Haber was born on January 9, 1955 in Bronxville, New York. She is a science fiction and non-fiction author and editor, as well as an art critic and historian.
Haber is the author of nine novels, five non-fiction books and fifty-five works of short fiction and poetry. She reviews art books for Locus magazine and profiles artists for various publications. With her husband, Robert Silverberg, she co-edited the Best Science Fiction of anthologies from 2002 to 2005, and the Best Fantasy of anthologies, 2001, 2002 and 2004.
