When a magic infection takes Esmeralda down, Cade turns to the one person close enough to help: a mysteries witch deep in the forest named Margretta. But their enemies are right on their heels and the trio continue to face adversity until the actions of the Wizard King force Cade to put together a team to fight him, including an old friend of his: a warrior named Hall who literally laughs in the face of danger while wielding two short handled axes and wearing almost no armor to protect himself.
The party find themselves in dungeons, ruins, and a bog filled with evil hags, and Cade rediscovers his love of women and a variety of them, as they open the all new series: Monsters, Ruins, and Harems.
