Overview: Ray Aldridge, the pseudonym of Raymon Huebert Aldridge, was born on July 6, 1948 in Syracuse, New York. Before turning to fiction writing full-time, he was a potter and a stained-glass window designer.
Aldridge’s first published story was “Click” in the anthology L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future, Volume II published in March 1986. Although his short fiction has predominately appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, it has also appeared in a number of anthologies and other magazines such as Amazing Stories. His style has been likened to those of Cordwainer Smith and Jack Vance.
Ray Aldridge lives in Florida and still engages in his favorite hobby of working with stained glass.
