Dodgy Bones: Pilates, Pills and Villains by Stephanie Dagg
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 0.7 Mb
Overview: Kelly is throwing everything she’s got into her new bone health Pilates course, and news quickly spreads around town about it. Pharmaceuticals sales rep Aidan is delighted; he’s just dropped off some sample pots of a new bone-boosting product called BoneFitVit at Castle Street Chemist’s. He urges Kelly to pick up the samples to distribute to her pupils.
This Kelly duly does, but, due to a series of nefarious events involving some very suspect characters, she actually distributes something far more potent than a mere vitamin complex to her pupils. The results are stupendous.
Unfortunately, someone important now needs this punchy product back, urgently. He sends in his henchmen to retrieve these valuable pills, but they’re not the only ones who want to get their hands on them. The race is on. And everyone is underestimating our group of determined, mature ladies who rather like their new-found energy and mental acuity.
‘Dodgy Bones: Pilates, Pills and Villains’ is the lively and enjoyable account of the chaos that ensues. It is intended as a light-hearted, entertaining way of raising awareness of the ‘silent disease’ of osteoporosis that is so widespread yet so overlooked, and also as a tribute to osteoporosis warriors everywhere.
