Overview: Quantum Computing is a rapidly emerging technology that harnesses the laws of quantum mechanics to solve problems too complex for classical computers. It is a multidisciplinary field comprising aspects of Computer Science, physics, and mathematics that utilizes quantum mechanics to solve complex problems faster than classical computers. It is a computational technology that uses the principles of quantum mechanics, such as entanglement, superposition, and interference to process, store, and manipulate large amounts of data and perform complex calculations for conventional computing systems and supercomputers cannot fathom. In recent years, a discipline with the potential to drastically change the use of Machine Learning (ML) and data processing environments has emerged from the novel fusion of neural networks and quantum technologies. This combination of Artificial Intelligence and quantum technology, known as “Quantum Technology,” has the potential to unleash currently unheard-of processing power, allowing us to address difficult issues that were previously thought to be intractable. Superposition and entanglement, two basic ideas in quantum mechanics, are used in utilizing quantum technology to handle information in methods which are inefficient for traditional computers. These quantum characteristics could speed up a variety of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, increasing the speed and precision of calculations.
