Overview: David Thomas Redd was born on January 14, 1946 in Cardigan, Cardiganshire, United Kingdom. His father was Dr. Raymond Redd, Chemistry master at Haverfordwest Grammar School and his mother was Elizabeth Carmen Kinsey Redd, Biology teacher at Whitchurch Secondary School.
In June 1973 Redd married Meriel, and they remained happily married until her untimely death in July 2009.
Redd had two grown up children and two grandchildren. He lived in Johnston with his daughter, son-in-law and their children. He had lived and worked in the beautiful countryside of West Wales nearly all his life, and believed it to be one of the nicest places to live or visit and had no intention of moving elsewhere.
Redd worked in UK Civil Engineering until his retirement in 2004, being involved in the construction of roads, bridges, motorway message signs and projects for oil refineries.
David Redd died on May 11, 2024 in Pembrokeshire.
