Overview: Shirley Bear Fedorak has always been passionate about storytelling. She grew up on a farm in southern Saskatchewan, Canada. She taught anthropology and archaeology at the University of Saskatchewan for many years, and is the author of numerous academic books, including the bestselling Anthropology Matters (University of Toronto 2017). She has travelled extensively and lived in Canada, Egypt, Mexico, Lebanon, and Malaysia. She is now focusing on a career in genre fiction, beginning with the post-apocalyptic climate survival series, Rainbow Warriors and the paranormal suspense series Whispers. She has three grown children and two granddaughters, and lives in Phuket, Thailand with her husband, Robert.
