Overview: When a mysterious interstellar object, named Oumaumau, came close to our Sun in 2017, it had already been traveling through space for millions of years. But when it was then seen to move away at an impossible speed it raised many questions about its origins.
For Alan Bax, Oumaumau’s appearance and sudden return to deep space also coincides with his mentor, Horace Dickinson’s disappearance, along with his unique collection of meteor rocks. Believing that there is a conspiracy involved, Alan is further convinced in his opinion when strange visitors arrive and threaten him.
Tracing Horace’s daughter Grace and trying to extract more information from her, Alan finds that she is deeply involved with a secret cult. But there is more.
Horace Dickinson wasn’t the only person to disappear on the day that Oumaumau was first sighted and soon Alan realizes that there is a connection between the space rocks he has been exhibiting, his mentor, the cult, Oumaumau and the appearance of a simulated spacecraft. What he doesn’t yet understand is the significance of them.
The Story of Oumaumau and the Missing Meteors is based on a real event that took place in 2017 and which prompted wild speculation of alien technology and visitors from outer space.
