Overview: Frances Ellen is a Dutch – English native. She graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in English Literature and from London Middlesex University with a Master’s in Novel Writing. The idea for the Asters series came when she was only fifteen years old on a summer holiday in France. Next to writing, Frances fosters and trains assistance dogs in the first year of their training and is a part-time canine instructor. Her dream is to support herself with her writing so she has the time to foster and train more assistance dogs on the side. She currently lives in Amsterdam with her flatmate, and the occasional assistance dog-in-training visitor.
