Overview: On the northern border of Leedham, Massachusetts, where the small suburb disappears and turns to sprawling woods with mountainous, rocky terrain, there sits a house known throughout the town as The Den. Since it was first built in the 1930s as a lodging for loggers, legends of Satanic cult activity have been attached to it. Many who entered The Den left in body bags or straitjackets. Some who lived told tales of creatures that inhabit the woods beyond The Den. Others spoke to the walls of their padded cells about heinous monstrosities that only come out under certain phases of the moon to feast on blood and flesh.
In 2007, The Den had become a haven for drugs, sadism, prostitution, dark web pornography, and other matters of a far darker nature. The town’s two most feared residents – Gallo and a man known only as Nosferatu – are at the heart of it, preying on all who enter. Their newest drug concoction, one that creates a violent sexual appetite in its users, is leading more and more people into The Den’s clutches.
That year, events took place that would cause The Den to become abandoned. Its inhabitants were never seen again. Sixteen years later, The Den has been scheduled for demolition by the town of Leedham. Before that can take place, its only survivors have some unfinished business there.
