My mom’s disappointed in me.
I chose to become a necromancer.
Why would I do that?
Because I’d rather be the monster under the bed than the narcissistic, self-centered paladin who’ll burn you alive for being different.
Plus, girls dig bad boys.
And to be a good son.
Mom will never understand that statement. My parents think working harder is better than smarter. The family farm is failing. We can’t pay our taxes and there isn’t any money for next year’s seeds. It’s time to think outside of the box.
What if we switched to undead labor?
That could save my family.
That’s why I chose to become a necromancer. I can destroy the monsters who threaten our farm and make it profitable again.
My family will hate me, but the family will survive.
And hopefully, I’ll find a girl who likes bad boys.
