Forced into hiding, the fugitives are rescued by Tessan, a volatile Waker, and Milo, a technician who can decode the glyphic residue Luca leaves behind. They prepare for a second crossing using a hidden route encoded in the bleeding book. But Sasha is the mole. She betrays the group, orchestrating an ambush that kills Talia. They escape only when Luca’s estranged uncle Tarn intervenes and sacrifices himself.
Luca is extracted by Rynn and Spiral stewards from Equaterra. There he learns the truth: the global Breach was a resonance rupture that split humanity into narrowband and wideband consciousness. Luca’s arrival triggers the Convergence, a global awakening. When Drevin breaches Equaterra’s Perimeter, Luca uses a sovereign Fold to end the pursuit and delivers the Transmission that initiates the next phase of human evolution.
