Requirements: .ePUB reader, 2.1MB
Overview: An enchanting and thoroughly satisfying adventure through a London Season that brings an eccentric darling of the ton and a resilient major together in an unexpected romance.
Prominent equestrienne Octavia Merrick has no idea that a simple ride in Hyde Park will turn her perfect life upside-down. But to the outspoken, wealthy, and eccentric darling of the ton, it’s all simply part of navigating a London Season. At twenty-five, she has everything necessary to embrace spinsterhood and resolves that no man will put a dent in her independence.
But she hasn’t met Major Alastair Fairfax yet.
The major isn’t entertaining ideas of marriage either, preferring a secluded life in the country where his scars and his physical impairments aren’t on display. When duty calls to sponsor his niece for her first London Season, he reluctantly agrees. But meeting women like Octavia Merrick only serves to remind Major Fairfax why he chose solitude in the first place.
Can these two determined people overcome their initial dislike to manage a London season full of matchmaking, misunderstandings, and romance?
