Apocalypse General Store 1 by Heath A. Clarkmann
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.2 mb
Overview: Alex Ainsley tried to rob a bank so he could pay back the very same bank.
Yes, it was a terrible plan. But by morning, the bank would seize the general store his family had run for four generations. Alex was desperate enough to try anything.
It’s going about as well as you’d expect when time freezes, a message appears, and the world changes forever.
[THE AGE OF ASCENSION HAS ARRIVED.]
[MISSION ASSIGNED: SURVIVE THE MUTATED INSECTS.]
Suddenly, insects are turning into monsters, civilization is collapsing, and a sadistic System is handing out levels, classes, and rewards to those who survive its deadly games.
Alex has spent his life learning how to run a store, not fight monsters. But in a world where food, weapons, and protection are worth more than gold, he might just have something going for him.
First, he’ll have to survive. Find something worth selling. And build a shop in a world that seems determined to kill every potential customer.
But the System has noticed something unusual about Alex. And in this new Age, being noticed is rarely a good thing.
