Overview: Sometimes you have to go thousands of miles from home to discover where you truly belong.
Joubert is a young South African mechanical engineer with a dream a good career, a meaningful life, and a love he believes will last forever. When he follows his heart to the Netherlands, he believes he has found all three.
But what begins as an exciting new chapter soon takes an unexpected turn. When his relationship falls apart, Joubert finds himself alone in a foreign country with a broken heart. Far from home, family and everything familiar, he must find the strength to rebuild his life and rediscover who he really is.
In a new country, a new job and a different culture, life brings unexpected friendships, challenges and moments of humour. And when he least expects it, he meets a South African woman who may change everything.
It is a journey across countries and cultures, but most of all, a journey towards understanding what truly matters and what it really means to belong.
