Betrayed by the Hero’s Party and Left For Dead, the Support Enchanter Returns as the Forsaken Archmage Book 1 by AverShin10
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.5 mb
Overview: For five years, James Powell kept the Sunblade alive with his enhancements. He was never thanked.
Then he saw something he wasn’t supposed to see, and on the fortieth floor of the Underkeep, his party left him to die.
Alone and bleeding, James unlocks a forbidden class: Heterodox Archmage. Every enhancement he casts on himself now lasts forever, and they all stack. So he doesn’t climb up. He goes down, all the way to the bottom of a dungeon that was never a dungeon at all. For the first time in his life, he doesn’t need a party to survive. He’s able to finally thrive.
When he finally comes out, it’s in a poor frontier village that no adventurer has ever bothered to save. There’s a sharp-tongued shepherd, a washed-up old adventurer, and a blacksmith who puts him to work. For the first time in his life, the people James protects actually thank him.
Then word comes from Harrowgate. The healer who stood by while they left him is starting to crack, and James knows exactly what the Sunblade does to people who talk. He’s done running. He’s done standing by. It’s time for the forsaken archmage to return.
They never once looked at him. Now they will.
