Overview: Howard Lawlor (1910-1992) was an Irish-born American author known for his contributions to speculative fiction, primarily during the early to mid-20th century. He wrote approximately 35 short stories from 1942 to 1953, with his debut being “The Eternal Priestess,” which was published in April 1942 in Fantastic Adventures. Lawlor frequently contributed to the magazine Weird Tales, where his story “Mayaya’s Little Green Men” became notable for its early mention of the phrase “Little Green Men.”
