Overview: Thomas Clarke Wylde was born on October 20, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. He began publishing fiction with “Target of Opportunity” for the September 1974 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction, and continued to produce well-respected short fiction regularly for the next two decades; some of it hard science fiction tinged with ironies. Over the course of Wylde’s career, he wrote six novels; all of which were part of a larger series of novels in conjunction with fellow authors.
