Overview: Ed Montalvo, born in New York in 1964, grew up in Brooklyn. For 25 years he worked as a Designer Engineer in the electrical and mechanical fields. In the early 80’s he was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons which fueled his creative pallet for fantasy and science fiction. The spring of 1988, he relocated to Central Florida. In winter of 2001, he wrote his first book Surface World part 1. The book is based on characters he and his wife played, named Dregous Von’Negrous a Dark Elf, and Tatiana Bruka, an Ayrian (winged humanoid). After which more books were written based on those characters and other SYFY novels.
