Overview: Juleen A. Brantingham was born on November 8, 1942 in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Fred and Jeannette (née Russell) Christman. She grew up in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1960. She married Robert in 1961.
Brantingham was an accomplished writer, starting with unpublished children’s stories and finishing her career writing science fiction. Her first professional sale was “Lobotomy Shoals” for the February 1979 issue of Omni.
Juleen A. Brantingham died on July 22, 2023 in Ames Township, Ohio.
