Overview: Vance S. Aandahl (born on 30. September 1944 in Colorado, USA) is an American writer who published several dozen short stories in the fields of science fiction and fantasy from 1960 to the mid-1990s. More recently, he wrote a series of film reviews. His stories appeared partly in science fiction anthologies and journals (for example, in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction), partly in literary magazines and also in Playboy. They have been translated into several languages, including German, French and Italian.
His story Born from the Beast was nominated for the Locus Award in 1987.
