Overview: Chelsea Ray is a film and television critic whose thirties begin with some significant life changes: she has recently lost her mother and stepfather in a car accident, married a winemaker, and moved from Los Angeles to Brookville – a small valley town in the wine region of central California. On the very first weekend in their new home, the Rays are invited to a welcoming dinner party during which they befriend two local families. While playing a grape picking game in a vineyard at the core of the night, the group finds one of them brutally murdered.

In her endeavour to help the town restore peace, Chelsea keeps uncovering the deepest secrets each of the families, including her very own, hides. Things get even worse as the murderer continues pursuing new targets.

Brookville is a psychological thriller that explores such themes as: dysfunctional family dynamics, the weight of lies, infidelity, and mental illness. The plot twists not only take the main protagonist through a suspenseful journey of self-discovery, but also lead to a shocking climax.
