The one who quietly adores her, says exactly the wrong thing, then spends the rest of the story trying to put it right.
That’s the Darcy you’ll usually find in my books.
I write standalone, closed-door Pride and Prejudice variations with faithful Austen-inspired characters, plenty of yearning, gentle humour and the swoon-worthy happily-ever-afters I firmly believe Elizabeth and Darcy deserve.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading another Austen variation, walking by the sea or trying to think of new ways to make Darcy suffer before he gets his happy ending.
