Sacrificed by the Hero’s Party, I was Reborn as an Echo Summoner by HoneyBadger66 (Sacrificed 1)

Overview: Trent’s job was to kneel behind a prince and generate mana until he died.

And he did it for two whole years taking the beatings, losing out on loot, and being hit with the shock collar they used on him when his output dropped. Then Prince Diaz reached past every line he wasn’t supposed to, and pulled everything Trent had left straight out of his chest to power a finishing move.

His heart stopped on the dungeon floor while Diaz’s party sorted the loot. Endo took the coin pouch off his belt, and the party filed him under just adequate and moved on.

Then something moved into the empty room where the Dungeon Boss’s core used to be. It was centuries old and very patient. The remnant of the Sun-Eater itself, the one they’d just killed, crawled out of the rubble and found a dead Amp with nothing left to lose and decided that he would have to do.

Trent woke up with a Mythic class that pulls dead heroes back from whatever comes after. Warriors, saints, champions, women who held walls and broke armies and died doing it, are now bound to him and his service. Whatever powers remain in them depends on the summon tier they’ve returned under.

Jota is a Spear Saint who held the Northern Gate for eleven years before her own command had her killed, and Moina, a War Champion who asked, upon arrival, who needed hitting and whether her master was a real Murderhobo yet. Some others didn’t make it…but that doesn’t mean he will stop trying to summon even more fallen heroes.

Diaz’s party left a dead amp in a collapsing dungeon. What came out is an Echo Summoner with a list of names, a grudge, and something ancient living in his chest that has been waiting for centuries to settle a debt of its own.
