Overview: More than twenty years after the events of Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth and Darcy are still very much in love and raising three nearly grown daughters at Pemberley.
Bella is the heiress to Pemberley and would much rather be having adventures than studying estate books. Kate is serious, scientific and far more interested in ideas than society, while Mina dreams of becoming an artist and seeing her work displayed in the great London galleries.
As Bella, Kate and Mina begin making their own choices about love and the lives they want to lead, Elizabeth and Darcy must adjust to parenting daughters who are no longer children. Elizabeth brings all her warmth and wit to the challenge, while Darcy is very much a girl dad: devoted, protective and often overwhelmed byt trying to guide his headstrong daughters.
The Disobedient Daughters of Darcy is a funny, romantic and closed-door Pride and Prejudice continuation, following the next generation of the Darcy family through the 1830s. Each book features its own love story, plenty of Elizabeth and Darcy, a glimpse into the lives of other characters from the novel, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
